Andrew Milner

Andrew Milner is a legally qualified chartered quantity surveyor specialising in contractual and commercial advice. Andrew originally trained as a chartered quantity surveyor, having worked for a main contractor and for professional quantity surveying practices. After 12 years practice he transferred to specialise in all areas of construction law and disputes. With 10 years experience in this field, Andrew now runs his own company, Integritam.
Andrew has a Degree in Quantity Surveying from Salford University and an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from Leeds Metropolitan University. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Andrew is an accredited Adjudicator and regularly accepts appointments as an Adjudicator, either nominated by one of the Appointing Bodies or by agreement between the parties. He sits on the national committee of the Adjudication Society. He is also an accredited Expert Witness with expertise in Project Management and Contract Administration, Quantum Claims for Damages and Quantity Surveying. He has been trained by and is a member of the renowned Academy of Experts.
While developing his own practice, Andrew has maintained close interests in writing, lecturing and academia. Andrew lectures part time in Contract and Tort Law and the English Legal System at Leeds Metropolitan University. He also lectures on the Construction Contract Training courses run by the Confederation of Construction Specialists, designed specifically for Building and Engineering Contractors.
Andrew writes regularly for a number of organisations including the Confederation of Construction Specialists, the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association and the Electrical and Mechanical Contractors. He writes in the field of Construction Law and Adjudication.
He also acts as an Advisor to a number of Contractor Trade Associations.
